For over 75 years, we have supported local non-profit organizations through employee donations and volunteer hours. We formalized our philanthropic strategy in 2017 and established the RHSB Foundation Fund with the Communities Foundation of Texas. In 2024, we moved our fund from CFT and are now a private foundation with 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service.
The RHSB Foundation is driven by the sponsorship of our “Throw Down” event, a Cornhole tournament, as well as employee involvement through fundraising campaigns and volunteer work for local non-profit organizations.
Each year, the foundation selects beneficiaries who are shining pillars within the community to receive donations supporting their missions and efforts.
Our contributions are generated directly from the RHSB Foundation Throw Down event through sponsorship, participation, and donations.
Past beneficiaries include the Humane Society of North Texas, The Senior Source, ChildcareGroup, Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep, Agape Clinic, Girls Inc. Dallas, The John Luke Hughston Endowment Fund at Jesuit Dallas, Capital for Kids, The Center, VolunteerNow, The Stewpot, and Cristo Rey Fort Worth.
Our Employees have given back by volunteering at local non-profit organizations like Hunger Busters, The Stew Pot, The Senior Source, Heart House, Equest, The Lullaby House, and many more.
Annual Throw Down, a Cornhole tournament to raise money for the foundation. The money raised from sponsorships, participation, and donations goes directly to the selected beneficiaries for the current year.
